Exchange Student Zero storyboards.....No dialogue on these though....

Some panels I boarded from the show "Exchange Student Zero" I boarded. Massive scripts and tight deadlines made the quality of the drawings thus. Good times though, got to freestyle all the action bits which was a good way to learn I tells ya!! Also, my external hard drive may be wrecked, so I'm hoping I haven't lost the other boards I did from this show!

Musical Numbers

I storyboarded these musical numbers for the tele movie Monster Beach,
made at Bogan Entertainment here in Melbourne. Fast rough boards and outsourced animation, and the result isn't too bad. Some lip synch issues though. I'll post some storyboards soon.
Pretty pleased with the results! The music was all done by the super cool Tripod based here in Melbourne as well.  Enjoy!

Here are some thumbs of a fox character I've been messing around with. Just practicing shots and trying to get some sort of momentum going. Working on Avengers Assemble at Atomic Cartoons in Vancouver was great for getting shot ideas. The board artists on it were SO good!! Learned a lot on that one for sure.

Here's a live action board I did last year, (July 2011).  It involved Rick Hansen.

Super last minute,  I did it in a couple hours one night while in Calgary. Photoshop!

VFX/ Live Action Commercial Storyboard

Here is a live action / vfx integration commercial storyboard I did last minute for a client. About 8 hrs over a couple days.  Live action always asks for different things in their boards than in animation,  less posing, but it was a fun idea so I made it a bit animation-ey.  The designs (phallic sea monster) were done by some one else.   I didn't post the dialogue either, but basically, when the coloured bugs land on the characters, they get to grant a wish. Just like real life.  Good times!!

Scene Suggestions

I did a lot of these for the BBC adds. Here are a few. Just brainstorming random scenes to get going. It was fun, people blurting out content and me throwing it into a square on the page haha! Fast and messy!

Thumbnails/Boards

Here are some thumbnails done for a minute of flash animation I did this May. Tight budget, deadlines, and a small team prevented these from becoming proper boards. And yes there was a planned push in (or something) during the acting, he didn't just grow suddenly : P

BBC Kids_Story Boards

Busy times. Here are some story boards I did back in April(?) for Motionsoup Studio here in Vancouver http://www.motionsoup.com/.

There were two spots for BBC Kids done in a sketch book cut-out, motion graphic style. The deadline was tight and I didn't get to pose much out for the animators, so the boards were really rough and vauge. Fun times brainstorming.
