November!

Add Image

It's about time to go through the looming pile of paper that's piling up.....in a pile................it's a pile of paper.

Using my other hand..........

Here is a drawing I did with my left hand. I highly recommend drawing with your "bad" hand, it's great for thinking differently about whatever you're doing. I'm not sure how to feel about the fact that it's not a bad drawing either. The right hand might be a bit jealous. A co worker insisted it looked like OJ Simpson, so I added some gloves. I think it looks a bit like Glen Keane. Go right brain Go! Ramble Ramble Ramble.

Screencaps!!!

Ghostbusters is one of my favorite films. Here are some great Ray Stantz expressions, a great scene of Ray and Peter drinking, and the end of the world exchange with him and Winston.
The trk out at the end of the Ray\Winston scene really emphasizes the dialogue.

http://digitalius.csmalecki.com/ is where I found all these, it's an awesome site!!!! Whoever picks the screen caps there does a good job. Go there now!!!! I brought the shots into P-shop to see them in a more sequential format.

Lecture!

Today at work there was an industry lecture given by the recruiter of a local studio. She didn't have the most expressive poses, but given an inch I'll take a mile when it comes to posing. It was a really good lecture too!

Demo Reel

This is really old stuff but I thought I'd throw it up here anyway just to see some work from Chaotic I did right out of school.

Contest Submission

I submitted this leica as part 1 of the Sydney Graphics Animation Competition.

20 sec max

Must contain something 7 yrs

Must have theme of recovery

Must have a yawn.

Needless too say after watching it, the whole thing is on speed. What started out as a whimsical thumbnail sequence turned into a silly 20 sec leica in two days of last minute work. Color would've been nice.

Make sure you vote for me asap! If I win................I get to submit ANOTHER leica of total nonsense that will hopefully explain this ones many lingering questions.

Color Studies

Downtime at work.

This is the USS Macon. It was one of the last air ships built in America that crashed of the coast of California in 1935. Look at the construction scaffolding! AND while in flight it served as a aircraft carrier for smaller bi-planes. Too cool. But huge and impractical. I was amazed by this so I cut it out of the Nat Geo it was in. Ya Airships!
